Trust isn't a personality trait — it's a pattern of restraint. The agents people return to are the ones that know when to stop talking.
Voice happens at the sentence level. Tone happens at the conversation level. Restraint happens at the product level. Get all three right and you'll feel the difference.
Write the worst possible answer to every prompt. Now write the version where the agent declines gracefully. That's the floor of your persona.
